Where you can't see the sky

So well , this is it.Since I was in Mumbai for the last couple of years ,lets list out the most brilliant things done here. Not in any particular order though:

1.Since there was a marked depletion in the kind of food available i.e. no 25 buck Kebab magic shwarma roles,i spent my time exploring local cuisine.in particular, malwani, bohri and parsi food. For avid meat eaters I would specially recommend the eateries around bofri mohalla with their stupendous complete meals with paya soup, barah handi khichda, Arabi roti, nihari , rogan josh. And to top it off with chocolate nithai, gulkhand and an absolutely sinful malai khwaja at the Suleimani Mithaiwala at Mohammed Ali Road.

2.The Tandoori Rann Masala at the "Shalimar".

3.Spent the evening watching yachts from the terrace bar at the Strand Hotel near the Radio Shack.

4.Radio Shack's Blueberry pies.

5. Seen the night close in on Mumbai from the Qila on Worli Koliwada.

6. Rested over at CST after a night out with french rap pouring out of our ears.

7.Spent an hour convincing the mamus that we had really gone there just for some air.

8.Fell in love on the Bandra promenade. And next at the Zoo.Good places for that.

9.Scooted off to Goa every Labour Day.

10.Worked for a few days at a night shelter and saw true grit in the face of adversity.Realised how difficult it is to teach first-generation learners.

11.Hogged away in all parts of mumbai, old and Navi ;discussing with fortifying fluids, the same old things that engineers do at such times.

12.For Parsi food, I prefer Brittania. The berry pulao is something that has been perfected there.

13.Walked into a bollywood shooting inadvertently at 4a.m., to find Harmaaan Baweja and other android.(Lovestory 2050)

So well I've eaten, danced and worked like a dog.Wonder whats next?
Things would be easier only if... ...

You've been a'messin' where you shouldn't 've been a'messin'
And now someone else is getting all your best
Well, these boots are made for walking, and that's just what they'll do
One of these days these boots are gonna walk all over you
